Mum's Apple Pie with Cottage Cheese
A pie on a cottage cheese and sour cream dough, with apples inside and whipped egg whites on top.
Steps
1. Combine everything except the egg whites and mix well. Add as much flour as it takes for the dough to knead.
2. Divide the dough in two.
3. Roll out one half and put it on a greased baking sheet. Slice the apples on top.
4. Cover with the second sheet of dough and pinch the edges together.
5. Bake at 180 °C.
6. When the pie is done, spread whipped egg whites over the top and put it back in the oven for 5 minutes.
